"What?" Ron tried to keep the panic out of his voice.
Hermione didn't look up from the inflight magazine, Aussie Skies, that she was reading. "They said there would be a delay in take-off."
"I heard what they said, Hermione!" her calm manner not helping him. He glanced over at her parents, they weren't listening. "Is there something wrong with the plane?"
"That's unlikely."
"My friend thinks there's something wrong with the phalanges," they heard a woman in front of them say.
Ron looked at Hermione in horror, who groaned and slapped a hand to her head in frustration.
